The
ABBOT
Room

This quaint 2nd floor room is named for the Abbott’s who were the third family to call this grand “house on the hill” home while raising three generations of Abbotts here. At the turn of the century, they owned the general store in town were you could by a pound of flour or a model T Ford. In the early 1900’s Charles Abbott became the local town dentist setting up an office and waiting room in what now is the Inn’s parlor dining room.

This 2nd floor room, (above old Charlie’s office), features a queen size bed, working brick faced gas-logged fireplace, central air conditioning, professionally shabby chic’ed period desk and dresser, small private bath with stall shower and deluxe amenities, a wall mounted flat screen TV, Wi-Fi and secured hard wired high speed internet access and phone.
